Using his years of medical experience as a psychiatrist in private practice, as a teacher at the University of Pennsylvania, as well as a clinician/administrator at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Dr. Guo is an expert in the topics of mental health, mental wellness, therapy, medications, addiction (chemical and behavioral), depression, anxiety, ADHD, relationships, family systems, culture, and stigma. He has won numerous teaching awards at the University of Pennsylvania and has also been featured on numerous TV segments.
Dr. Guo is interested in using his experience working in different systems and communities to help consult, educate, and change the way mental health is discussed and delivered within companies, systems, and society. He takes pride in leading teams and has effectively educated and implemented new treatment protocols for the treatment of opioid use disorder in the Philadelphia area. He is an expert at reviewing charts and is also interested in forensic work.
