Dr. Guo is a Philadelphia-trained psychiatrist who is deeply committed to giving back to the Philadelphia area. He received his Medical Degree from the Drexel University College of Medicine, and then completed his psychiatric residency at the University of Pennsylvania, where he served as Chief Resident for both the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania as well as the Philadelphia Veterans Affairs Hospital. During his residency, he received the Laughlin Family Foundation Outstanding Psychiatric Resident Award, the Association of Family Psychiatrists Resident Recognition Award for Family Care, and was also a PennCAREs Grant Recipient for his Mental Health Outreach work.

Dr. Guo is an Attending Psychiatrist at the Philadelphia Veterans Affairs Hospital and also serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine.
